FutureChef is right on track

This competition reaches out to the young chef market and enables young talent to compete in its four stages, school heats, local heats, regional finals and the national final. This is an amazing opportunity for young peoples flare to shine through and develop their talent.

With over 7,000 competitors from 600 schools and 1,000 chefs – as mentors and judges this event is hitting the mark with competitors and the industry.

This years winner was rising star Luke Thomas, a 15 year old student from Connah’s Quay High School in Wales who wowed judges with his menu of Rack of Lamb with creamed savoy cabbage, shallot tarte tatin and rosemary jus followed by double chocolate soufflé with orange and ginger confit. Judges praised his clean cut presentation and outstanding flavours which, they said, demonstrated a level of skill far beyond his years.
